Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I've cared for many rescue animals, each with their own story and personality - among them an Amazon Grey parrot and even a sheep I found dumped and severely emaciated. With patience, care, and love, he recovered and became part of the family, happily joining my Mastiff and Labradoodle on their daily walks
Based on the Ashurst, Wiston and Steyning borders in West Sussex, I currently have two Springer Spaniels - Fred and Dug - who I've had since they were puppies, as well as a feral cat who now enjoys her own cosy bedroom in the barn. I've had dogs all my life and regularly care for family and friends' dogs too - so I know first-hand how important it is to leave your pet with someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely caring
My background is in care - spanning social care and dental nursing - where compassion, patience, and reliability were essential every day, before following my true passion for animals into a role as a veterinary receptionist - a job I absolutely loved because it let me support animals and their owners alike
I now run my own dog walking business, offering friendly group walks for sociable dogs, home visits to feed cats and other animals, and help with vet trips - providing extra reassurance for both pets and owners when it's needed most
For your peace of mind, I hold a current DBS certificate and an Animal First Aid certificate
My aim is simple: To provide a caring, reliable, and personal service, treating every animal as if they were my own
